Rafting

Brazils waterways offer many rivers with different difficulty levels. They range from easy river rapids, with smooth and stable waves for beginners, to quite turbulent waters with narrow passages, which require experience and skill from sports fans.

In the State of São Paulo, it is possible to venture on rivers in Juquitiba, Brotas, Socorro and São Luiz do Paraitinga.

In the State of Rio de Janeiro, the best places for the sport are the Serra dos Órgãos National Park, Três Rios, and Macaé.

The emotion also runs loose in the South: there you have Canela and the Aparados da Serra National Park, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul; Foz do Iguaçu, in the State of Paraná; and Timbó and Santo Amaro da Imperatriz, in the State of Santa Catarina.
