Day 1

Meet and greet service at Salvador airport and private transfer to the hotel.

Depending on the arrival time, it is possible to start with the Historical Tour passing by the most important monuments of the Historic Center, including a stop for tasting one of Bahia’s most typical snacks.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel.

It’s time to go to the African Heritage Tour with a Capoeira Experience. To truly understand this unique and culturally diverse city, it’s important to learn about the history of its people and their traditions. It includes also a delicious gastronomic experience.

In the afternoon, it’s time to enjoy a private sailing trip to discover the islands and beaches of ‘Baía de Todos os Santos’ (All Saints Bay).

If there’s any energy left at the end of the day, there is a possibility to enjoy an evening of culture, including a performance by the Bahia Folkloric Ballet and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out and transfer out to Salvador’s airport. Flight to Belo Horizonte, with meet and greet service at the airport and private transfer to Ouro Preto (approx. 2h30-3h).

There is the possibility to include the first night in Belo Horizonte and add a visit to Inhotim Museum – the largest open-air contemporary art museum in the world – before heading to Ouro Preto.

Upon arrival in Ouro Preto, a historical walking tour in the city with a journey through the past of Ouro Preto. Most institutions are closed on Mondays.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel.

It’s time to explore the historical part of the city and take a trip to Mariana and the Gold Mine. It includes a train ride from Ouro Preto to Mariana, and a cable car to the gold mine.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel.

The day starts with a trip to Tiradentes, with a stop on the way to visit the city of Congonhas.

From Ouro Preto to Congonhas: approx. 1h30.

From Congonhas to Tiradentes: approx. 1h30.

In Tiradentes there is the opportunity to take a cooking class and learn how to make the famous ‘pão de queijo’ – a traditional cheese bread from Minas Gerais – and experience new flavours.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel.

Time to find out more about Tiadentes and discover why Brazilians love it so much. The journey continues to São João del Rei, a city whose beautiful colonial architecture and religious traditions are also highly notable.

Day 7

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out and transfer out to Belo Horizonte’s airport. Flight to Rio de Janeiro, with meet and greet service at the airport and private transfer to the hotel.

There is also the possibility to travel by road, driving from Tiradentes to Rio de Janeiro, via the historic city of Petrópolis (approx. 10h-drive).

Day 8

Breakfast at hotel.

It’s time to know Rio from a different perspective. An interesting mix of old and modern buildings, which have been the main setting for important events in the country’s history. It includes a stop for lunch in a traditional restaurant that was founded in 1894, made history in Rio and is still part of the cultural and artistic heritage of the city.

Day 9

Breakfast at hotel.

Visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, with panoramic views of the city. The tour begins with a scenic drive along Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Then, a ride aboard a comfortable train that ascends to the base of Corcovado Mountain, located 2,300 feet above sea level.

The itinerary continues on a very charming neighborhood, Santa Teresa, which is culturally and historically important to Rio, as it has well preserved the character of the old Rio. With large houses and historic buildings, it tells stories from the past, hosting artisan galleries and the traditional trolley, known as "bondinho". Bohemian artists influenced the neighborhood and gave it its cultural and architectural charm.

Lunch included at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, it’s time to experience the Carnival Behind the Scenes – an immersion into the world of Carnival directly from the “City of Samba”. For an even more complete immersion, you can participate in percussion or costume creation workshops.

Day 10

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out followed by a visit to the Sugar Loaf Mountain.

The experience includes a panoramic ride in glass cable cars – first ascending to the top of Urca Hill (215m above sea level), offering stunning views of the entire bay and surrounding islands.

Private transfer to Paraty (approx. 4h30-5h). Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11

Breakfast at hotel.

A tour of the famous Gold Trail and its waterfalls on an open-top jeep, including a stop to visit a Cachaça Distillery, including a delicious tasting.

In the afternoon, a walking tour to the historic center. If time permits, a ceramic workshop could be included.

Day 12

Breakfast at hotel.

Before leaving there is the possibility to relax and explore the stunning islands and idyllic beaches aboard a charming traditional wooden boat.

Check-out and transfer to Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo’ airport (approx. 4h30-5h).

End of services and flight back home.
